Full body

Full body laser hair removal

Full body is not one standard treatment. It is a bundle of areas sold under one plan. Clinics in Islamabad and Rawalpindi quote from about Rs 17,500 to Rs 90,000 per session depending on which zones are included. A six-session package often lands between Rs 60,000 and Rs 89,000. The useful question is not full body yes or no, but exactly which anatomy is in the quote.

Full-body courses need a clinic that can block several hours and rotate through multiple zones in one visit.
01The short answer

What does full body laser mean?

Full body laser hair removal usually means a clinic bundles several areas into one course: commonly legs, arms, underarms, and sometimes back or chest. Face, neck, hands, and feet are often priced separately even inside a full body advert. One full-body session can run ninety minutes to two hours or more. Most plans still need six to eight visits spaced weeks apart. Paying for a package saves money only if the included areas match what you actually want treated.

Get a written list of every zone in the quote. A low full-body price often excludes face, back, or half-leg definitions you assumed were included.

Each visit

What a full body session involves

Long appointment, multiple zones, sun rules differ by area treated the same day.

01
Before
Every included zone should be shaved one to two days earlier unless the clinic says otherwise. Plan several hours for the visit. Avoid fresh tan on any exposed area in the bundle.
02
During
The operator moves through areas in a set order. Settings change with skin tone and hair type. Face and body may use different handpieces or wavelengths in one appointment if both are included.
03
After
Redness varies by zone. Legs and underarms may feel warm longer than compact areas. Treated hair sheds over one to three weeks across all zones, not on the same day.
04
Between sessions
Shave if needed. Do not wax or epilate anywhere in the course. SPF on face and forearms if those zones are treated. One missed aftercare rule on an exposed area can affect the whole plan.

Large-area passes are slow and systematic. Full-body visits are among the longest in a clinic day.
03What's included

What full body packages usually cover

Names vary by clinic. These are the zones most often bundled or left out.

  • Commonly included: both underarms, full arms, full legs, and sometimes back or chest.
  • Often extra or excluded: full face, upper lip alone, neck, hands, and feet.
  • Half-leg or half-arm definitions still apply inside packages. Confirm thigh, knee, and forearm boundaries.
  • Men's full-body plans may emphasise chest and back. Women's plans may emphasise arms and legs. Read the list, not the headline.
  • Building your own bundle from separate area packages can cost more per visit but gives clearer control over what is treated.

Preparation

Before a full body session

Stop waxing everywhere in the plan
Any zone still waxed or threaded removes follicles the next session needs. Pause hair removal on all included areas for two to four weeks.
Shave each zone on schedule
Large bundles mean long shaving prep at home. Some clinics treat upper and lower body on different days if the full map is too much for one visit.
Map sun exposure by area
Face and forearms need stricter sun rules than underarms. A full-body visit in peak summer needs a realistic aftercare plan for exposed skin.
Confirm session splitting
Ask whether the clinic treats everything in one sitting or splits body halves across two appointments within the same package price.
Disclose medications once
One consultation should cover all zones. Photosensitising drugs affect timing on every area treated, not just the face.
05Skin and hair

Skin and hair

One person can sit at different Fitzpatrick levels on face, arms, and legs.

Many patients in Islamabad and Rawalpindi sit around Fitzpatrick III to V, but tone is not uniform across the body. Face and forearms may tan while underarms stay lighter. Nd:YAG is commonly used where surface pigment is deeper. A clinic should not use one setting sheet for every zone without checks. Patch tests on the most sensitive or darkest area in the plan are standard before session one.

  • Recent tan on any included exposed zone may delay the whole appointment, not just that patch.
  • Coarse body hair and fine facial hair need different expectations even inside one package name.
  • If one area reacts strongly after session one, tell the clinic before the next full-body visit rather than pushing through all zones.

07FAQ

Full body laser questions

How long does one full body session take?

Often ninety minutes to two hours or more if many zones are included. Some clinics split upper and lower body across two shorter visits under one package.

Is a full body package cheaper than separate areas?

Usually yes per session if the bundled zones match what you want. If you only need legs and underarms, a full-body package can cost more than treating those areas alone.

Does full body include the face?

Not always. Many Islamabad and Rawalpindi lists treat face or upper lip as an add-on. Ask for a written zone list before paying.

How many sessions does full body need?

Six to eight sessions at intervals set by the slowest-recovering area in the plan, often four to eight weeks apart depending on zone. Stopping at three visits usually leaves patchy results.

Can I start with one area and upgrade to full body?

Many clinics credit or roll single-area sessions into a package if you upgrade early in the course. Confirm policy and pricing before session one.
